This past weekend, my wife and I had a great trip to New York City. Normally, I wouldn’t bother writing a trip report for a short domestic trip, but this one was interesting enough to warrant a more detailed write-up.
We flew up on Delta in First Class after my upgrade cleared, stayed at the Andaz 5th Avenue and enjoyed some fun activities in Manhattan and Brooklyn. On the way back we got upgraded again to lay flat seats and visited a couple of lounges at JFK, but after three hours on the taxiways, we got stuck overnight thanks to a crew issue. I will split this report up into a few parts and link the pages here as they go live:
1 – Getting to NYC on Delta First Class
5 – Getting to JFK the New Way
6 – JFK Lounge Reviews – Centurion and SkyClub
7 – Getting Stuck Overnight on the Way Home
