Owning a Piece of a 747

Delta Reserve Business 747 Card

Yesterday I received my replacement Delta Reserve Business card made from a retired Delta 747. It’s quite a conversation piece, although I don’t often carry this card. I only use it to hit my spending requirements for Delta status (through some manufactured spending) and I also use the annual companion ticket. This new card is actually lighter than the previous purple metal card.

We flew a Delta 747 to Israel and back from JFK in 2014. Were we on this specific plane? Who knows? I don’t track my flights that obsessively. It’s definitely a cool card though and Amex makes it very easy to order a replacement through their website (not the app). Just log in, go to Account Services and follow the prompts to order a replacement card.
