Boston is kind of a Delta hub. It’s nothing like Atlanta or Detroit in terms of scale, but it does have quite a few international flights and pretty good domestic connectivity to hubs and secondary cities. There are three SkyClubs, one in the main part of Terminal A just past security, one in Terminal E (international) and another club in the Terminal A Satellite Concourse.
My friend and I were both flying (to different places around the same time) from the A Satellite Concourse on the way home from our trip, so we visited that club. The concourse is reached via an underground tunnel from the main terminal. There are moving walkways but no train.
I used one of my Delta Reserve SkyClub guest passes to give my friend access to the club. It’s actually a very large space split between two main areas. Near the entrance there’s a lounging area with lots of armchairs, couches, and tables, then further along there’s a dining area with more tables and a staffed bar. There are windows overlooking the taxiways across the rear of the lounge allowing for lots of natural light. While all the food is in the main section, there’s multiple self-service beverage areas in separate parts of the lounge.

The food selection was excellent, including local selections like Boston Clam Chowder, several hot meat and veggie options, charcuterie, salad, and some pretty good desserts.

As we had not eaten lunch, we enjoyed the food. I tried the chowder and it was very good, as well as the beef dish, shrimp, and some of the desserts.

The bar was right behind us, but after all the Boston beer the past few days, we weren’t in a drinking mood.

Overall, this was a solid SkyClub. There was no line to get in and there were plenty of seating options throughout the lounge. Having an extra club in the satellite concourse probably leads to the clubs being less crowded overall as there’s only about 10 gates in this concourse. Most people won’t be making the trek here if their flight is in the main concourse as they will just go to that SkyClub instead.
