I’ll obviously have a full review of our SE Asia trip when we return, but I wanted to tell a quick funny story along the way. We left Oceanside, California and headed to LAX around 4pm with the intention to stop at the famous In N Out Burger near the airport.
I’ve never eaten there and figured it was a great place to stop for a bite before we returned the rental car and checked in for our 17+ hour flight to Singapore.
Well, it was Easter Sunday and all In N Out locations were closed. Apparently, the owners are very religious and they are always closed on Easter Sunday.
After that, we were sort of craving a good burger. As we were driving around the airport on the rental car shuttle bus about to get off at the Bradley Terminal, I had a brainwave. We could go to the United Polaris Lounge with our Singapore boarding passes and get their great burger before walking around to the Bradley Terminal for our late night flight.
We had no issues getting through security at Terminal 7, in fact there was Clear so it was probably quicker. We had a great burger and the warm cookie with ice cream.

We sat in the pleasantly quiet Polaris lounge until it was time to walk around to the international terminal for our flight. We got our burger after all.
