We spent a long weekend in Washington, DC as our younger daughter was interning in the area and subletting an apartment in Foggy Bottom for the summer. Our older daughter also joined us via train from Connecticut so we got to see both kids and try some good (and not so good) restaurants.
It was a hot and stormy weekend, but we managed to avoid the worst of the weather and both of our flights were pretty much on time. We flew Delta First Class courtesy of a Delta Reserve companion ticket and stayed at the Park Hyatt on points. Our stay was…interesting. You’ll definitely want to read the review. As we visited a bunch of museums last summer, we did some different things this time.
I’ll split the report into several parts and post it over the next few days. I’ll also link the posts here:
1 – Delta First Class ATL-DCA-ATL
2 – Park Hyatt DC Park Suite Review
4 – DC Restaurant Roundup – 2023 Version
